Floor Coverings Family BBQ

So the month of August was a busy one at Floor Coverings with kids off school and families holidaying. August is a special month for Floor Coverings though as we hold our annual Family BBQ in August.

Due to the Covid pandemic we haven’t been able to host a BBQ for the staff and their families since 2019 so it was doubly exciting to be able to get this organised this year.  Over the past three years we have grown as a business having increased our incredible installation team so it was lovely to have everyone altogether along with their families to enjoy some well-deserved R&R.

Those families have also increased in numbers over the past three years and we welcomed two new bouncing babies to the BBQ along with their siblings and the rest of the team’s children.  Three years ago at our last BBQ we were all excitedly cuddling a 3 week old baby girl – our youngest invited guest ever and we couldn’t believe how adorable she is now she’s just turned three!  Time really does fly.  

We were super lucky with the weather too. Taro donned his chef’s hat, fired up the BBQ to cook a splendid array of BBQ offerings which were delectable. A great time was had by all.
