2023: What a great year it has been
As this year comes to an end, it is only natural to look back over the last year and celebrate our achievements, remember our stand out moments, and take a look at some of the fantastic work we have done.
This year has, once again, been a very busy one, so we must say a huge thank you to our clients for their custom and recommendations. We would not be here without them and for that we are truly grateful.
Team work makes the dream work
Our team here at Floor Coverings is growing as we are getting even busier, and we have expanded our exceptional team of fitters by welcoming three new trainees. We are committed to training and developing into outstanding professionals, aligning with the high standards of our installation team. They are already an asset to our team and we look forward to seeing how they flourish over the next year.
Additionally, we are thrilled to announce the acquisition of Amtico accreditation for two more members of our fitters’ qualifications. As the only Amtico One Partner in the area, we supply and fit a lot of fabulous Amtico flooring. And as a luxury brand we need highly trained experts, of which we now have 3 (who are all very busy!).
Fancy new additions to the showroom
Exciting transformations have taken place in our showroom as well. We’ve introduced three new sophisticated stands featuring Ulster Carpets, Westex Flooring, and Alternative Flooring, providing even more enticing options.
Furthermore, we proudly unveiled our exclusive hardwood range, named ‘The French Collection,’ consisting of 52 choices with diverse widths, lengths, and exquisite finishes. If you haven’t visited our showroom recently, we invite you to explore these exciting additions. We have a wonderful showroom, the largest in the the Cambridgeshire region, where you can take a look at all the samples and products we have on offer, as well as make the most of the highly knowledgeable team and their advice.
Giving back. Our charitable donation
As a company, where possible, we are trying to make more eco-conscious decisions and due to this we have decided to change the way we send our festive wishes. Instead of a physical Christmas card we have turned to the wonders of digital.
On the back of the savings made we will be donating £5000 to a local charity that we hold dear to our hearts and serves a fantastic cause, it is Cambridge Children’s Hospital (CCH). CCH is the first dedicated children’s hospital in our region integrating mental and physical healthcare with provision for intensive care. We are sure you agree this is a worthwhile causeSo as we move towards 2024 we are excited to see what next year will bring with the amount of hard work we as a team all put in
