Amtico Over Ceramic Tiles

If you’ve ever wondered if you can install Amtico flooring over existing ceramic tiles, this shows you how we do it!

In the photograph above, we show a kitchen in which there were ceramic tiles that were very old and dated. However, they were sound and secure enough for us to perform a new installation of Amtico Spacia Parquet flooring on!

Firstly, we have repaired a few damaged ceramics. Then we apply screed over the entire floor, completely covering the ceramic tiles.

Finally, the fabulous Amtico Spacia Parquet range flooring is fitted on top of the dried screed.

As you can see, the end result is a completely new look and feel for a once tired looking kitchen floor with a whole new lease of life that is durable and will stand the test of time in a room that takes much more wear and tear than most others in the home.
